Women Make Waves Film Festival will be held on October 13 - 22, 2017. Russian short film "Free" by Yuliya Dmitriyeva has been included into the competition. CinePromo is the film festivals agent of "Free".
Film has already participated in several film festivals in Russia and won 2 awards. Russian premiere was held on Craft Film Festival in Moscow and international premiere - in Uruguay.
Established as a non-profit organization in 1993, Women Make Waves Film Festival, Taiwan has been one of the major film festivals in Taiwan and has established itself as the biggest one dedicated to supporting female talents. Women Make Waves Film Festival, Taiwan aims to celebrate the achievements of outstanding female talents, to explore different aspects of women's lives as well as to promote equality and rights of all genders.
