Director’s statement
We shot this film in order to highlight the most relevant topics that the youth faces today: self-determination, self-knowledge, genuine values. It was important for us to show Freedom from different sides and convey to the viewer that only the viewer determines his/her personal freedom. The viewer — like all of us — is the creator of his/her own life, and every day we live depends only on us. The film covers such important values and topics as love, family, support of loved ones, raising children, purposefulness, acceptance of oneself and the world around, mental and physical health, freedom of expression, the versatility of the world, respect for the planet, animals, people of all nations, infinity of possibilities , willpower, the power of words, the power of action, inner potential, faith in oneself and those who are near, the ability to choose the best life for oneself, the connection between all life on the planet, originality, self-knowledge, uniqueness of personality, friendship, openness to education, work , all-round development, tolerance, patriotism, the value of life and the confidence that no matter what happens, it is in your power to fix everything. We inspire viewers to live, create, be kinder and more gentler to the world. It was for these purposes that this film was created.
ABOUT THE FILM DIRECTOR:
Victoria Kot was born on 31.10.1995 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2018 graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Film and Television as a Film and TV producer.
Ekaterina Piltenko was born on 30.05.1998 in Russia. In 2021 graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Film and Television as a Film and TV producer.
