Nina is an atypical Dagestani woman with tattoos and piercings. The court gave her children to her ex-husband for the fact that Nina leads an "immoral lifestyle and is very much an amateur." Masha is an Armenian and a blogger. She posts photos in underwear on Instagram, which her priest father doesn't even know about.

It is generally accepted that women in the Caucasus are always modest, quiet, completely devoted to their housework; they seem not to attract any attention. However, in the 21st century, not all girls are ready to follow the established tradition. Such girls are often deemed to be the “wrong" kind, just because they chose a different lifestyle. I decided to raise this issue in my film because I want to help women feel free even in such traditional cultures.
