Director’s statement
Masha, You're My Dummy! — is a story about an eternal teenage yearning for rebellion. It’s a story about how we earn our stripes while getting our scars, as we age and mature, going through our youthful desire for adventure. It’s a movie about the simple fact that it’s useless to call upon the wisdom of our kids and to share our experience with them. It’s a reminder: «When your children grow up, remember yourself, as you were before!»
