Short film "Mom, I'm drowning!" is a story about the relationship between a mother and a daughter going through puberty. Formal communication, loss of trust and contact, on the one hand, and the crisis of first love, on the other, push the teenager to take a desperate step. Will mom hear her daughter's call?

Director’s statement
I’ve always taken interest in relationships between adults and children. Why, as we grow up, do the borders with the world of childhood becomes turn into an abyss? Why do our childhood problems seem frivolous and unworthy of attention?
ABOUT THE FILM DIRECTOR:
Dmitry Rudakov was born on 26.10.1987 in St. Petersburg. Graduated from St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions as an actor. Served in the St. Petersburg State Drama Theater "Comedians" for 4 years. 2012 - 2014 worked on the TV channel “Food HD” (TV projects: A saucepan in the ear or a crazy Balakhanov, Surprise me deliciously) as a television anchorman. Studied at the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television as a film director. Since 2015 he is a television anchorman in the morning information and entertainment program "Morning at 5".
