Eleven-year-old Polina invites her father to watch a comet which can't be seen through his apartment's windows. Seeing the girl has come to his place that cold night without warning, all alone, scared father drives her to her mother's house. On the way there, he says that some people will ask her about mum and dad tomorrow and asks Polina to tell them about her late-night trip to his home. But she is preoccupied with thoughts of the comet and suggests watching it together through her room's window. When father refuses, Polina pretends to be seek to make him carry her in his arms to the apartment. Polina's mother meet them at the door of her apartment. The girl asks both parents to watch the comet all together. This way she hopes to bring them together but they argue with each other even more. From their conversation it becomes clear that mum and dad will fight for custody of Polina in court tomorrow. Will Polina be able to change something in their minds before the crutial battle of their protracted war? And will the comet appear in the sky?

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Irina Obidova was born on 11.03.1990 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Kamchatka Krai), Russia. In 2013 graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television as a film director as a film director.
She shot 2 fiction and 2 documentary short films while studying. After graduation, she worked as an executive and creative producer, and also shot commercials as a director. Since 2014 she has been working as a creative producer of the movie platform Po-tential, a project that supports debutants.
