Since the first CineFest in 2004 the Miskolc International Film Festival is on a very promising way to became a major Central European film event. Year by year, Jameson CineFest attracts thousands of movie fans and visitors from the whole world. Many attractive supplementary programs - exhibitions, workshops, roundtable discussions - will accompany the nightly screenings. Some fine concerts, film history workshops and a retospectives will accompany the event.
Jameson CineFest will be held in Miskolc on September 8-17, 2017. 5 short films from Russia, which CinePromo submits to film festivals, are selected to the competition program: "Deadline" by Sergey Pozdnyakov, "The Last Tram" by Daria Molchanova (Gorky film studio), "The Tussle" by Evgeniy Nikitin (Сompany "Take & Shot"), "So that mom is happy" by Asya Mozhegova and "Close relations" by Anna Simakova.
