ClujShorts International Short Film Festival will be held on April 3 - 9, 2017. Russian short films "Lesson Unlearned 14\41" by Nina Vedmitskaya and "Old Iron Woman" by Anastasia Polukhina are included to its program. CinePromo is the film festivals agent of the films.
The films were selected from 800 submitted works.
Persona Association is the producer and organizer of ClujShorts International Short Film Festival. ClujShorts is about love for the short films. Because a short film is still a complete movie, it needs to be enjoyed for its artistic value, its complexity and its ability to express the film-makers vision in a shorter amount of time.
Therefore, as of 2013, during every spring, ClujShorts brings together in Cluj Napoca film enthusiasts, film festivals, talented directors and actors, bold producers and a large number of good films. ClujShorts encourages uprising directors and is also promoting already established ones.
ClujShorts International Short Film Festival reunites the central elements of the Persona Association: the passion for art and the passion for people.

This is a story of Nick, a 5th grader of Donetsk school, who stays in the classroom during the bombardment. All alone with his fear he suddenly finds the support. The most common school board becomes a portal to the past. Nick meets the same little boy, but from 1941. They both are locked in the school under fire, and both want to live, be happy and enjoy the childhood.

Little Egor investigates the world around. “Who are you?”, - he asks the wind. “Why are you here?”, - he asks the bug.
Before bed, his mother tells him a story about an old iron woman, which kills the ones who doesn't sleep.
At night Egor looks for the old iron woman in the gulley, finds her and enters an imaginative struggle with her. In the morning mother finds sleeping Egor. He says he decided to become an iron old man and to kill the old iron woman. Mother takes home her half asleep son.
